Analytics is a term that many people associate with marketing. In the music industry, analytics serve many purposes. For an artist, they are the measurable units of data that can tell you how well you are performing online. In most cases, artists only need to view the basic analytics behind their streams. If you have distributed to Spotify or Apple Music, you should have the ability to see all of your streaming data in one place. Both platforms offer a mobile app along with web-based platforms to help you get the most from your data.

Did you download the apps yet? If not, take a few minutes to get yourself accommodated with some of the terminology associated with streaming analytics.
